CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OF OUR NEW STUDENTS ON THEIR ACCEPTANCE TO THE ARTS ACADEMY AT BENJAMIN RUSH FOR THE 2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR!
It is our hope that you will not only enjoy being part of the community here, but an active participant engaging in many activities and making the experience at our high school both personal and rewarding. This phrase, though a bit cliche, is never more true than it is for life at Rush: Your high school experience will only be what you make it. We are thankful and excited that you selected the Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush as you begin your high school journey.
If you did not attend Welcome Night, please contact the main office at 215-400-3030 immediately to obtain your welcome packet. There are several documents that must be completed prior to your first day of school.
New student orientation will take place on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 1st 9:00am – 12:00pm
INTERESTED NEW STUDENTS
The Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush is a Special Admittance Public School that is part of the School District of Philadelphia. The School District of Philadelphia School Selection process for the 2024-2025 School year, opens Friday, September 15, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. and will close on October 27 at 11:59 p.m.

You will also find information on new student auditions for each department. The information posted as of August 18th is for last year’s auditions. Revisions to this year’s audition process will be posted as soon as they are available but will more or less, be similar to last year.
