Athletics Spectator Policies

Athletic Spectator Policies for schools within the School District of Philadelphia are set by individual schools following guidelines by the School District of Philadelphia and the Philadelphia Public League

The official, and complete, spectator policy for the Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush Indoor Athletic teams (Volleyball and Basketball)

The policies at other schools can include no student spectators or no spectators at all, including parents.  Rush Arts Coaches should inform their team/team parents and guardians for their host school spectator policies.

For Outdoor sports and sports off-site (such as Bowling), spectator policies will be determined by the venue.

For Soccer, Field Hockey, Softball, & Flag Football, generally speaking, spectators are permitted free of charge but should stay away from the player bench areas and from behind the goals or near the batting cage.
